Your words are the blueprint of your mind. As I prepare for 2025 and my journey into motherhood at week 21, I’ve discovered a powerful practice that’s completely transforming my life. Today, I want to share my exact affirmation routine and challenge you to try it for just three days.

The Power of Your Words

Think about this: A brain surgeon can operate on your brain but can’t fix your thoughts. A heart surgeon can repair your heart but can’t heal your feelings. Only you have the power to transform your inner world.

My Daily Affirmation Practice

Morning Power Words

When you first wake up, before touching your phone, say these words with conviction:

  • “I’m awakening to my greatest potential”
  • “Success is my natural state”
  • “Excellence flows through my veins”
  • “This day belongs to me”

Shower Cleansing Ritual

While showering, affirm:

  • “I’m cleansing myself from all limitations”
  • “Every drop of water is washing away my fears”
  • “I am becoming stronger and clearer”

Throughout Your Day

As you move through your activities, remind yourself:

  • “I’m moving closer to my destiny”
  • “Every person I meet contributes to my growth”
  • “I am grounded in my power”

Evening Reflection

Before bed, ask yourself:

  1. How did I speak to myself today?
  2. What words did I use in moments of challenge?
  3. What can I improve tomorrow?

The Texas State Fair Story

Let me share a powerful example of how this works. In 2014, I managed the Texas State Fair with a goal of $200,000 in 21 days. Despite having maxed-out credit cards and bills to pay, I chose to invest $15 in chocolate bars for my team.

My mind screamed, “You can’t afford this!” But I replaced that thought with: “Money comes to me easily. There is enough for everyone.”

The result? I earned my first $10,000 paycheck and exceeded our goals. Why? Because I aligned my thoughts and actions with abundance rather than lack.

The Three-Day Challenge

Here’s what I want you to do starting tomorrow:

  1. Morning Power-Up
    • Say your morning affirmations before touching your phone
    • Feel the words in your body
    • Expect greatness from your day
  2. Daily Practice
    • Catch negative thoughts
    • Replace them with positive alternatives
    • Speak to yourself with power
  3. Evening Review
    • Reflect on your words and thoughts
    • Celebrate your progress
    • Set intentions for tomorrow

Important Note

Remember: At first, these affirmations might feel fake or uncomfortable. That’s normal. Give yourself three days. Watch what happens to your energy, your ideas, and your opportunities.

Making It Work For You

The key is to:

  • Be consistent
  • Feel the words
  • Align your thoughts and feelings
  • Trust the process

Think of yourself as a magnet, attracting what you constantly think about and feel. Your thoughts and feelings must align for this to work.

Your Call to Action

I challenge you to try this practice for just three days. Start tomorrow morning with the affirmations I’ve shared. Write them down, carry them with you, and really feel them as you say them.

Share in the comments: What’s one affirmation you’re going to start using tomorrow? Remember, you are more powerful than you know.

A brain surgeon can’t fix your thoughts, but you can. What will you choose to think today?
