As I enter my 18th week of pregnancy, I’ve been diving deep into mindset work that’s completely transformed how I think about success and possibilities. Today, I want to share the exact exercises that are helping me create incredible changes in my life.
The Foundation: Trust and Acceptance
The first step in transforming your mindset starts with two powerful affirmations:
- “I trust myself and the process”
- “I am exactly where I am meant to be at this moment”
When I first wrote these down, something shifted inside me. Instead of fighting against where I was, I began to see how every challenge was preparing me for what’s next.
Understanding Your Current Position
Here’s a truth that changed everything for me: Being stuck is just a feeling. Being unstuck is also just a feeling. We get to choose which feeling we embrace.
The Flip-It Exercise
This powerful tool helps you transform negative thoughts into positive intentions. Here’s how to do it:
- Take a piece of paper and fold it in half
- On the left side, write three things you definitely don’t want
- On the right side, flip each negative into what you do want
- Focus only on the right side moving forward
Why This Works
When you clearly identify what you don’t want, it becomes easier to see what you do want. But the key is to only focus on the positive side once you’ve done the exercise.
The Congratulations Card
This might be my favorite exercise. Here’s how to do it:
- Take a blank card
- Write the date six months from today
- Address it to yourself: “Dear [Your Name]”
- Write: “Congratulations! You did it!”
- List what you’ve stepped away from
- List what you’ve stepped into
Keep this card by your bed and read it every morning and night.
The Power of Future Vision
When you write as if your goals are already accomplished, your brain begins to see them as real possibilities rather than distant dreams.
The Release Exercise
For this exercise, you’ll need:
- Sticky notes
- A zip-lock bag
- A pen
- Write each limiting belief on a sticky note
- Cut up the notes
- Put them in the bag
- Seal it and throw it away
This physical act of releasing what doesn’t serve you is incredibly powerful.
Making It Work: Daily Practice
Here’s how I incorporate these tools into my daily life:
Morning Routine
- Read my congratulations card
- Say my trust affirmations
- Visualize myself as a success magnet
Throughout the Day
- Catch negative thoughts
- Refer to my “flip-it” list
- Focus on what I want, not what I don’t want
Evening Practice
- Review my congratulations card
- Practice gratitude
- Visualize my dreams as already achieved
The Results I’m Seeing
Since implementing these practices:
- My confidence has grown
- Opportunities are appearing
- My vision is clearer
- My energy is higher
Your Turn to Transform
Here’s my challenge to you: Choose ONE of these tools to start with today. I recommend beginning with the “Flip-It” exercise because it’s simple but powerful.
Take a piece of paper right now and:
- Write down three things you don’t want
- Flip each one into what you do want
- Post the positive side where you’ll see it daily
Share in the comments: Which tool resonates most with you? What’s one limiting belief you’re ready to flip into a powerful intention?
Remember: You are exactly where you need to be right now to begin your transformation.
